Artist statement

I am searching for connection — I want to create it, to let it emerge.
I seek that connection within myself when I create; it offers me a space for introspection.
I enjoy making works in which the viewer becomes part of the piece, where they are invited to explore their connection with themselves or with others.

I try not to look away from what is happening in society — alienation, climate change, a world that seems to spin ever faster, where attention and time have become scarce resources.
I believe many of these “problems” can be traced back to a lack of connection — the very connection I am seeking: with each other, with nature, with ourselves, and with the universe we are part of.

My work often takes the form of installations, but I believe the medium of expression should remain free.
I prefer not to put myself into boxes; I like to stay multidimensional.
I question the world, people, and the systems we live in.
I want to invite interaction, wonder, and reflection — in a way that feels true to me: playful and authentic.

Collaboration is an important part of my practice. I love working with people from different fields; I am curious and eager to learn new things.
I believe that when we work together, we can always achieve more than we can alone.

My work is never solely mine; it arises in dialogue with my subconscious and the world around me.
I am light-hearted, joyful, and hopeful — and I want to share that.
I try to hold unconditional love for existence.
Playfulness is my method, wonder is my compass, and connection is my goal.
